SVP, Specialty Pharmacy Payor Strategy CPS Solutions, LLC Home-Based / Remote

As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC SVP, Specialty Pharmacy Payor Strategy, you will work u nder the direction of the Executive Vice President, Network Solutions, and in collaboration with the President, Specialty and Ambulatory Services, lead the development and successful implementation of specialty pharmacy Payor Relations initiatives. The Sr. Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy Payor Strategy is expected to develop strategic relationships with all payor types including but not, limited to, National and Regional payors, Self-funded employers, PBM’s, and TPA’s. You will develop and implement access strategies, and collaborate with key payor stakeholders to gain appropriate access and reimbursement to specialty networks in addition to other responsibilities.

Salary range: $200,000-$240,000, plus bonus, based on experience


    • Develops strategic relationships with payors for specialty network access for client Specialty Pharmacies.
    • Leads strategy for gaining access to payor networks on behalf of client hospitals related to CPS’ specialty pharmacy network business.
    • Responsible for development and implementation of innovative joint strategies focused on demonstrating client value propositions to payors in the delivery of high-touch patient services, adherence services, data services.
    • Functions as the primary point of contact between the payor community (all types) and internal CPS and hospital client stakeholders related to individual Specialty Pharmacy network access.
    • Advise Clients how to approach maximizing and optimizing their Specialty pharmacy through relationships and benefit design.
    • Oversees a team that includes Pharmacy Enrollment, Audit, Pharmacy Credentialing and VP of Payor Strategies.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: This position works at least4 0 hours per week, primarily Monday – Friday and requires travel away from a home location for varying lengths of time up to 50% .

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Health Care related field preferred
    • An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MS Pharm, MBA) is preferred
    • 10+ years of related experience in Payor Relations in Specialty Pharmacy, particularly with regards to gaining access to patient lives
    • 5 years of successful, progressive leadership experience
    • Able to travel up to 80% of the time by plane or car away from home locationAble to meet company standards for a MVR
