Full job description

Part-time VA Hospital Representative. Selling within the VA Health System a must. 75% virtual position using Microsoft Teams. This is a 1099 position with a guaranteed base hourly rate of $35.00/hour for a 24-hour work week with paid training and quarterly bonus of up to 15% of quarterly pay.

Position: VA Hospital Representative

This is a great opportunity to work from home 75% of the time and utilize your sales experienceWe’re looking for a driven sales representative with extensive experience selling to the Veterans Administration to support our product growth within the VA health system under the FFS contract. Quest Healthcare has held the FFS contract for over 10 years exceeding 1 million dollars in sales. This role involves identifying and capitalizing on the current VA business opportunities and expanding our business within the VA health system. The VA Representative will develop and execute a sales plan based on provided key accounts, with some in-person meetings required (mileage reimbursed, airfare booked and paid for in advance). The part-time position entails a 3-day work week (8 hours/day), with flexibility on days within normal business hours, and occasional attendance at 1-2 trade shows per year.

Qualifications/Experience

· 4-year bachelor’s degree

· VA sales experience (5+ years)

· Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

· Proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Proven successful sales track record

· Experience logging calls in a CRM system

· Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and generate demand for our products within the VA Health System

· Highly effective organizational skills

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and exercise good business judgment. You should be able to execute our selling process in a manner that is concise, compliant, professional, ethical, persuasive, and leads to the customer taking action

· Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

· Complete required 3-to-4-week paid training program

· Craft and execute sales strategies to meet and surpass sales targets and expand our customer base with the VA health system

· Deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate Quest Healthcare’s unique value proposition

· Make required outgoing sales calls to VA hospital executives, i.e., DONs, Medical Directors, Nurse Educators, Directors of Pharmacy, Doctors, and Case Managers

· Send follow-up emails to customers whom you have contacted on the phone

· Thoroughly document all activity/calls in our CRM and create new accounts in the CRM on an as-needed basis

· Develop and execute SMART goals to maximize sales potential for the territory

· Engage and educate new and existing customers on Quest Healthcare products. Provide virtual or live educational in-services for nursing staff, pharmacists, and doctors

· Ongoing positive interaction with all staff within the VA hospital system

· Ability to work tradeshows and conferences

· All travel expenses will be paid by Quest Healthcare
